EXTERNAL COLLABORATIONS SEEKING PARTICIPATION

Alzheimer's Association International Cohort Study of Chronic Neurological Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2

The Alzheimer’s Association US and the University of Texas Health San Antonio are organizing a CNS SARS-CoV-2 Consortium to organize a research study aimed at understanding the short and long-term effects of SARS-CoV-2 on the CNS. It will involve over 50 centers across 30 countries and will also receive technical guidance from the WHO.

COVID-Neuro Network Meta-Analysis

A partnership between Brain Infections Global and Liverpool University to characterize neurological associations of COVID-19, factors that impact neuro-COVID, and risk factors for development of neurological disease.

The COVID-19 Brain Study

Led by Adrian Owen at the University of Western Ontario in Canada, this study aims to recruit 50,000 people with a confirmed, positive diagnosis of the virus to better understand common neurological consequences over a large population.

EAN Neuro-COVID Registry (ENERGY)

A prospective registry created by the European Academy of Neurology to track the prevalence of neurological manifestations in confirmed COVID-19 cases and their outcomes at 6 months and 12 month timepoints.

The Neurocritical Care Society's (NCC) Global Consortium Study of Neurological Dysfunction in COVID-19 (GSC-NeuroCOVID)

A global effort to collect multi-modal data to document prevalence and severity of neurological symptoms among patients with confirmed or suspected COVID-19. Individual institutions and hospitals are invited to register for participation.

CANCOV - The Canadian COVID-19 Prospective Cohort Study

The Canadian COVID-19 Prospective Cohort Study (CANCOV) is  consortium of interdisciplinary investigators and clinicians leading multiple COVID19 studies across Canada to provide a comprehensive evaluation of early to 1-year outcomes in patients with COVID-19 and their family caregivers.
